This painting is called Silver Mountain because the silver in this painting forms the abstract shape of a mountain. The background on this piece is a beautiful red sunset to make the “Silver Mountain” look even better. I have always admired how the mountains reach high up into the sky, and how beautiful they are. ReplyDeleteGreat talking with you and your dad in the museum today. It's funny - I looked at this piece before I saw the title, and the "mountain" part made me think of water with reflections on the surface. That's why I like abstracts....you can put your own spin on things!
